Director of Sales Operations will be responsible for setting and implementing the operational strategy to support more efficient and data-driven sales at Kargo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set a departmental strategy and tight project roadmap based on close partnership and needs assessment with Sales Management, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership.
    • i.e., how should Kargo set-up and prioritize a sales operations infrastructure that helps the company better understand…key metrics for sales conversion? Margin and pricing management? Performance management? Customer pipeline and opportunity?
  • Own the sales forecasting and planning process and establish high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency:
    • Partner with the Finance and Sales teams to provide visibility into current and forward-looking performance, revenue, and profitability
    • Conduct pipeline analyses, optimize sales quotas and territory management
  • Work closely with leadership to define optimal performance measurements and roll out plans required to ensure success:
    • Align reporting, training, and incentive programs with performance priorities
    • Develop, administer and communicate commission plans
  • Own all tools, technology and training relating to the new business and account management teams
    • Salesforce.com: implement policies to ensure data integrity; oversee integrations with existing and future internal systems; drive operational efficiency, automation and product opportunities across the organization
  • Lead special projects to drive business objectives, best-practice sharing and process standardization:
    • Provide analytical support for leadership to improve strategies and operations
    • Lead change management efforts for the new business and account management teams

The Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience across operations, strategy, analytics, sales process, and finance
  • 5+ years of Sales Operations-specific experience required

The Role:

Kargo is looking to add a full-time Associate Account Manager to our growing team. Kargo AAM's touch all areas of the campaign life cycle, from proposal development to campaign execution, while maintaining a strong focus on client relationship management. This position requires being personable, creative and analytical, as well as being able to multi-task while maintaining a strong attention to detail. Associate Account Managers help liaison between our Sales, Operations, & Design departments and externally with our clients. Main responsibilities include proposal development, operating as the point of contact for client requests, overseeing the development of mobile creative, managing campaign execution, reporting & analysis- all with the aim of strengthening and growing Kargo’s accounts.

The Responsibilities:

  • Ideate and brainstorm creative concepts that satisfy client-branding objectives and push the envelope in terms of mobile innovation
  • Compose customized proposals that creatively and strategically align with marketer objectives in a mobile-first way
  • Act as the main liaison between the client and internal teams, to effectively execute campaigns and respond to client requests
  • Consistent monitoring of campaigns to identify opportunities for optimization and ensure successful results

Kargo is looking to add a full-time Account Coordinator to our growing team. At Kargo, Account Coordinators support the Account Management team throughout the sales cycle, from proposal development to campaign reporting & analysis. This position requires someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and with a strong sense of aesthetic. Daily responsibilities include participation in creative brainstorms, development of custom proposals, and management of research & analytic platforms.

The Responsibilities:

  • Brainstorm proposals alongside sales to come up with mobile ad units that satisfy client objectives
  • Understand the full scope of Kargo’s creative capabilities and mobile technology to continuously push the envelope in terms of innovation
  • Develop custom proposals in PowerPoint & create ad-unit mocks that visually demonstrate the units that are being pitched
  • Support the development of marketing and sales collateral for strategic accounts
  • Stay up to date on and manage the use of Kargo’s third party platforms

Product Manager, Ad Innovation

Kargo Ad Product Managers touch all aspects of the evolution of a mobile Ad Product from ideation, conception, and development to launch, execution, and performance analysis. In addition to thorough knowledge of Kargo’s existing mobile Ad product suite, the Product Manager will work in close collaboration with product leadership to develop and iterate on a variety of mobile ad products and advertising technology systems and platforms.

 This role requires someone who is a self starter, and who will learn to understand Ad Innovation from all angles including: opportunity assessment, technical implementation, user experience, revenue generation and more. The Product Manager will gain broad exposure internally, interacting with every internal department at Kargo, and your contributions will directly impact the success of Kargo’s Ad Products.

Responsibilities:

  • Work efficiently with a team of engineers, designers, and Product leads to cultivate a collaborative work environment.
  • Gather competitive intel, data analysis and industry research to help inform decisions for new products and actively work through opportunity assessments
  • Actively participate with the technology team in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, brainstorms and other product-related meetings
  • Document and track business requirements for new features, as well as measure success once in market and identifying room for improvement
  • Develop feature specs and write acceptance criteria for user stories.
  • Grow and maintain a detailed product backlog for mobile ad products.
  • Collaborate with Product leadership to forge Kargo’s ad technology roadmap in line with corporate priorities and strategies
  • Communicate with all stakeholders regularly regarding enhancements, timelines and work with them to solve problems

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years professional experience working in technology, advertising, or on digital products
  • Experience working directly with product management, engineering, or design/UX teams 
  • Fast on their feet and can understand the broad picture but also be detail-oriented
  • Self-starter who doesn't shy from taking the initiative, and has an enthusiasm for collaboration
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with all other departments

The Role:

Kargo is looking for a talented Sr. UI Designer who has experience working across UI/UX and visual design to join our design team with sharp & motivated designers in a fun office environment. The Position: As a system engineer at Kargo, you will be responsible for building the very foundation on which our engineering department and its products will run. You will be engineering our cloud infrastructure to be durable, scalable, and easy to manage. Some of the tasks required to achieve this goal:

  • Take ownership over the monitoring and logging tools that the rest of department will use to gain insight into our environments
  • Improve the scalability and durability of our systems via infrastructure updates. We’re cloud first and hosted on Amazon Web Services
  • Help the data engineering team deploy Apache Spark based machine learning systems

The Requirements:

  • Has worked with a cloud provider for at least 3 years. Bonus points for AWS experience.
  • Very strong in a Linux environment, including experience with scripting.  
  • Programming skills in at least one of the major scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, Node, etc)
  • Has worked with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Travis, Circle, Bamboo, Team City, etc.
  • An understanding of all major Web standard protocols, web servers (Apache/Nginx) and load balancing.
