Kargo is seeking a smart-thinking and blazingly original senior copywriter for a fun, fast-paced job in mobile ad tech marketing. This is a great opportunity for a versatile and strategic wordsmith who will be the voice of the company and tell our brand story across media ranging from client presentations to social posts, websites to invites, sizzle videos to swag packaging. Those are just some of things you’ll be working on with our talented team of designers and marketers.

The Right Candidate

We’re looking for someone who’s:

  • Experienced. You’ve held a few posts in advertising, media and/or tech. Bonus points for B2B work.
  • Creative and strategic. You can craft the perfect heading on a PowerPoint preso and make the sales prop beneath it iron tight.
  • A juggler. You can draft an event invite and whip up an exec bio and write a case study simultaneously.
  • Self-starting. You’ll jump on a project without a nudge, and come up with a brand campaign idea without anyone asking.
  • Speedy. Let’s face it, advertising moves fast. So do we.
  • Collaborative. You can work with designers, strategists, sales PR, HR, C-Suite types, all types.
  • Resourceful. You’ll Google a stat to bolster a point, you’ll read a few trade rags to keep up with the tech and the acronyms, and maybe even find the perfect soundtrack for our next product sizzle video.
  • Detail oriented. You’ll spot a mispelled word in a white paper before it goes to press. Did you catch misspelled?!
  • Allergic to jargon. Haven’t we all read synergy, leverage and pivot enough for 10 lifetimes?
  • Visual. You can craft a story for print and like to offer up a visual concept to tell it better.
  • Fun. Let’s face it, we’ll spend a lot of time together. Might as well have a laugh while we’re at it.
