Director, Research & Insight

Summary of Job’s Purpose:

The Director of Research will be responsible for developing thought leadership and proprietary research on the role of quality and brand awareness in mobile, support major RFPs and work closely with the Sales team to conduct ad effectiveness studies across our network. This role will also play a critical role in helping marketers understand campaign performance. The role includes managing relationships with external research vendors and developing accountability solutions for customers.

The Position:

Deliver unique thought-leadership research for the company that can be used to develop deeper insights and client relationships

Participate in client-facing strategy sessions and research presentations to further relationships with largest advertisers 

Leverage syndicated and custom ROI/ad effectiveness research methods to show performance

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Product to ensure the success of Kargo

Internal research expert to the sales teams, surfacing trends, consumer insights and opportunities from primary research and syndicated sources.

Work with Data team to mine internal data and gain insights that can be used for external thought leadership.

Serve as the research, data and insights expert for the sales teams you support

Identify, investigate, and evaluate new media measurement models, data sources, and research partners.

Seeks out innovative new approaches to address business needs and key business decisions through leveraging current and/or new research methodologies

Work closely with marketing teams to market thought leadership, develop brand positioning, and produce case studies showcasing best practices.

See the big picture and clearly communicate objectives, status, tactics and results to all stakeholders 

Establish solid working relationship with stakeholders and become a close partner with respect to reporting, data and business needs

Participate in industry conferences and provide POVs on key research methodologies and measurement trends in mobile.

Manage research budget and coordinate with business development team efforts

Manage relationships with preferred partnerships with research vendors

Oversee and support coaching, mentoring, and developing of Research Team

The Requirements:

8-10 years relevant work experience in advertising effectiveness and primary custom research 

Direct experience with research services like comScore, Nielsen, Research Now, Millward Brown Digital, eMarketer etc.

BA/BS in a quantitative discipline (e.g. statistics, accounting, economics, business) 

Experience conceiving of, executing and working with Marketing to produce custom research and thought leadership studies

Experience analyzing the ROI of media campaigns and initiatives

Strategic thinker with ability to formulate innovative solutions to complex problems and keep ahead of industry trends

Experience supporting advertising agencies and sales/business development teams with consumer insight initiatives

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and demonstrable ability to motivate high performing teams

Experience in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies

Client Services Coordinator

The Account Coordinator will support the Client Services Team in all aspects of campaign servicing the client’s day to day needs to ensure expected delivery and client satisfaction. Achieving profitable and sustainable market share growth within all accounts is essential, while catering to brand image and ensuring account target life-cycle, from pre-sale planning through post-sale execution. They will aid in achievement. You must have a finger on the pulse of the industry and its competitive trends, be forward thinking and not afraid to voice suggestions and propositions.

The Position:

Act as day to day support for the client services team

Prepare timely and consistent completion of pre and post-sale deliverables

Initiate and ensure accurate input of campaign details on internal platforms

Support development of client-facing reports

UX/UI Designer (on-site, freelance)

The Role

Kargo is looking for a talented Freelance UI/UX Designer ​to​ design and enhance the experience of Kargo’s user-facing products that align with the company’s business strategy. ​The role will focus on various web app products including (but not limited to) Kargo’s end-to-end premium advertising platform allowing for mobile ad campaign management, Kargo’s ad creative testing & diagnostics tool and Kargo’s inventory forecasting tool.

Responsibilities

●  Design, prototype and iterate Kargo’s products that align with the company’s business goals until they meet our high standard of quality and a set of product requirements

●  Interpret design guidelines, wireframes & workflows, and create pixel-perfect, visually engaging design treatments

●  Work closely with Product Managers and develop clear understanding to the purpose, goals and requirements of the products you are designing and actively solve UI/UX problems

●  Work closely with Engineers ensuring proper design implementation and support bug fixes and trouble shootings during the build process

●  Play a leadership role in resolving unclear direction or unknown variables

●  Advocate for users

●  Maintain design consistency across all Kargo products while continuously innovating

Staff Accountant

Summary of Job’s Purpose:

We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our AR and AP team and make an immediate impact. You will ensure invoices are paid, customer issues are resolved and support the AP team as well. There is a lot of opportunity to contribute to some exciting projects as the company grows.

  • Import and process monthly customer invoices and publisher POs
  • Follow up to resolve any billing discrepancy and involve proper stakeholders to expedite resolution and process all necessary invoice adjustments

Summary of Job’s Purpose:

As an Account Director, you are the primary link between Kargo and the marketplace. In this senior sales role, you’ll leverage your deep relationships and experience to drive significant growth across key agencies, brands, and platforms. You will provide valuable input in revenue forecasts and regularly provide market insight back to the company to inform direction and roadmap.

The Position:

Evangelizes Kargo as a consultative partner providing clients world-class customer service and developing strategic partnerships. Represents Kargo's values and philosophy to the world.

Creates and grows partnerships both brand direct and agencies. Develops corporate contacts and cultivates relationships at all levels that enhance Kargo's position.

Possesses strong baseline understanding of the full digital eco-system, with a curiosity to always learn more. 

Works to deeply understand the customer's business, challenges, and goals. Increases revenue from positioning and presenting new and existing products, preparing appropriate ROIs, and closing the sale.

Exhibits a HUNTER mentality – an appetite for building and closing deals. This includes growing marketshare of current business and driving new business.

Maintains complete and accurate documentation in SalesForce of all activity

Maintains broad knowledge of company products and their capabilities as well as the strengths/ weaknesses of competitive products

Cycle market response back to the company, primarily the product organization, to help inform our roadmap and positioning.

Interface with Kargo creative, design, and yield teams to develop sound, compelling pro-active ideas and proposals. 

Works very closely with Account Management teams to service, maintain, renew and up-sell current clients

The Requirements:

5+ years of experience selling both online and programmatic advertising AND 3+ years of marketing, brand advertising, media sales, and/or online advertising experience

Must have strong list of brand and agency contacts in addition to other assignments in the region

Ability to engage and partner with C-Level executives

Ability to win the support of key stakeholders

Extensive knowledge of digital and mobile marketing

Must possess superb written and verbal communication skills
