The Opportunity As a Senior Account Executive, you'll be the primary link between Kargo and the marketplace, using your deep relationships and sales experience to drive growth across key brands and agencies, including enterprise-level accounts. You'll own a quarterly and annual quota, contribute to revenue forecasts, and bring market insight back to the business to help shape our roadmap.
The Daily To-Do
- Build and grow partnerships, both brand-direct and with key agencies, cultivating relationships at every level
- Deeply understand each customer's business, challenges, and goals to grow revenue through new and existing products
- Bring a hunter mentality to the role: growing share within current accounts and driving net-new business
- Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Design, Research, and Yield to build compelling proposals and proactive ideas
- Work closely with Account Management to service, renew, and upsell current clients
- Keep SalesForce complete and accurate, and stay sharp on Kargo's products and the competitive landscape
- Represent Kargo at industry events and through regular client entertainment
Qualifications
- 4+ years selling video/CTV and programmatic advertising, plus 3+ years in marketing, brand advertising, media sales, or online advertising
- Experience selling into media advertising sales and/or media agency markets; enterprise account experience preferred
- Strong existing relationships across brands and agencies, including Publicis (preferred, not required)
- Comfortable engaging and building trust with C-level executives and key stakeholders
- Strong grasp of digital and mobile marketing, including programmatic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strength in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word (Salesforce a plus)
- Willingness and ability to travel
In accordance with applicable federal, state, and local pay transparency laws, the anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for variable compensation — either the Kargo Sales Incentive Plan (sales roles) or an annual discretionary bonus (all other roles). Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education, and skills.
